At Specialtubi, each stage of the production process is accompanied by rigorous quality controls that guarantee reliability, safety and durability. Thanks to precision instrumentation and the expertise of our operators, we carry out thorough checks on each batch, with the aim of offering our customers only the best.
We use high-precision digital instruments to accurately measure sheet thickness. This check is critical and crucial for setting up the tooling correctly and ensuring that the diameter is made to the required tolerances.
The width of the steel sheet is checked by means of slide gauges with centesimal precision. An essential control to ensure uniformity in production and dimensional correspondence to the technical drawing to be executed.
For exact diameter detection we pay special attention by using precision outer diameter tapes, which are made according to strict standards in 68° (20° C) temperature-controlled facilities and with an accuracy of ± 0.001'' up to 144'' . In our specific case we are equipped to go up to 6'' tubes.
We use digital slide gauges for roundness verification for the purpose of keeping tube ovality under control throughout the most important stage of final calibration.
The height of individual pieces cut to precise dimensions to customer specifications is checked using trusks altimeters certified and manufactured to very reliable accuracy standards.
